Rolling and Strolling In Our Neighbourhood

Mom and I went for a good walk today.  Well, she walked, I rode.    The things I saw my friends.  They’d curl Kali’s fur and she’d be a LaPerm cat….MOL…I’m so funny! MOL!  *sigh*   What?  OK,  I’ll get on with the story, mom.  It was unbelievable!   Pure craziness.   Peeps were all over….making lotsa noise too.  Cars were whizzing by and I was scared at first.   I crept to the back of the basket…near mom.   There were so many strange noises.  Dogs were barking, usually I couldn’t see them but I saw three of the big boogers.   Kali would have saucer eyes!. MOL                                                      ash1wksm

Two of the big dogs I saw were Bulldogs, mom said. I wouldn’t want them living near me. They are super loud.  I pulled back in the basket but had my eyes on them till they were outta sight.

We went by one house that had a lovely tree getting new growth on it and MOL, these peeps had tied plastic apples on the tree. It was cool. I guess it’s an apple tree or a plastic apple tree. MOL

How artsy….a fine creation from peeps that have seen their fill of wintry landscapes.

Mom said we both had done very well and we should head home.                                                                  ashwksm

Mom was talking with our neighbour on our way home and he realized I was sitting in the stroller, so he asked about me and mom explained we went for a roll and stroll. He has two cats and was enthralled with the stroller. He said the pet stroller was, “Cutting edge” and I had to agree with him, at least for Prince George it was very *cutting edge*. I yelled at mom to hurry up and we were on the move again.

Kali met us at the door and was delighted to see us, mewing up a storm.  I told her all about the sights we saw and she licked my head. Aww….sis…I had a good time. I’m sure tired though.

S’cuse my friends I must have a well deserved nap. Can you imagine the dreams I’ll have? MOL

Well Shoko I’d say that stroller is a BIG HIT – not just with you and Mom but EVENTUALLY I think even Kali will enjoy it……….I think it was an excellent thing for your Mom to get – it’s fun to go for a cruise in safety isn’t it?!

Unbelievable – way to go my friend. Isn’t it cool being driven around? And what awesome sights you saw too. The fresh air is so great when your driver takes you out and about 🙂 XOXO – Bacon

It’s totally awesome. I know Houdini loves his and he can go so many places. Mom took him to Home Depot a couple of weeks ago in his stroller. He said the smells there were out of this world. XOXO – Bacon

Peeps that make their own fun gotta be fun and putting plastic apples on the tree looks like fun. Cow Kitty sightings. Yep, did see that young dude this morn….he doesn’t chase me as much since mom growled at him. It isn’t that warm anymore so not many furry neighbours are popping by to visit. Cow Kitty is very sociable, showing every furry face where the nip is. MOL

So Bulldogs are cool…are they friendly? They look kinda ugly to me and slobbery. Not that I’m judging…I guess I am a little but they look mean as hell-o! Yes, I really should have a diary called “Travels with Shoko.”

So true Shoko, so true. Me is just sooooo happy you are enjoyin’ yourself. Sure there are smetimes it can get a bit scary, but once you figger out nothin’ can get to you, then you get even braver. Me’s hissed at a few doggies and given them what fur. They can’t reach me to retaliate, not dat mommy would let them anyways. MOL

        Luv ya’

Ya but you guys don’t go out and if I was like that…I’d be terrified to go for a stroll. As it was I slept for 4 hours when we got home. Mom has plans for me to work for my stroll.

I don’t see why not. It would be way cheaper if you already had one or could get one second hand. You would need some mesh around the top so junior doesn’t leap out and feels more protected. I plan on putting a harness on Shoko and a leash….there is a buckle to attach the leash. This will happen when she feels more comfortable and I can raise the mesh.

I’m so sure I could find a used carriage and my husband could make the mesh. Oh boy, if I do this my neighbors are going to think I’m a crazy cat lady! But I’m sure there’s no way I could compare to the woman who had 50+ cats before we moved in — we have two only.

I’m sure your hubby could do the mesh. If, you go too far take piddle pads and some treats….also water. So you can stop and let them have something to eat and drink. Of course, the piddle pads are for afterwards. We may not have gone to tinkles before you decided to go for a walk. 50 cats! Holy cwap….I guess she thought she was helping them but us cats need more attention than she could ever have given her kitties. If you are a crazy cat lady so is mom and many more peeps…..join them! It’s different Cody. Open your mind…it was hard for me to widen my perspective but a walk around in the fresh air showed me what I have been missing. Although I wouldn’t want to be out in the great outdoors with out mom. The Lane is all I can handle by myself. MOL

You will always be my mentor Nellie. Without being a stubborn, willful kitteh I wouldn’t have had the guts to go out and tackle the neighbourhood. Guess who guided me to be that stubborn, willful kitteh…why it was you! I owe you and always will.
