Selfie Sunday with Shoko the Sunworshipper

The sun…the sun!! Feel the heat…we’ve got that cuddly warm feeling again.  Mom is planting seeds in some pots and we…we’re getting a snout full of the outdoors.                                                                       ashrollAwww….my back scratcher has returned with the warm weather.

This selfie deserves to be in with my other anipals selfies at The Cat On My Head.  Do a kitty dance on over simply by clicking on their name.

You live in southern Ontario? I must follow you. It’s always nice to find another Canadian out there. Yes, we have beautiful weather one day and the next its snowing. Very moody weather but I must take advantage of it when its good.

You really have a nice day, and you are enjoying, you lucky cat. We have had a spring day, I saw first butterfly and mom took photos of crocus flowers. Kosmo wrote this

Sounds like you have been warmer than us, Kosmos. I saw my first fly of the year yesterday. Butterflies are no where near here. It has to be June before we see butterflies. I would like to soar like a butterfly….think of the birds I could terrorize. No crocuses yet either. The tulips are coming along nicely….one tulip is forming a bud. Mom says I haven’t seen crocus yet because we don’t have any. MOL

Shoko, you are precious. Great belly shot. Our dad has been taking photos of us in the sun all day, both inside and outside. Rolling and scratching her back on the concrete is one of Misty May’s favorite things to do. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

I’d tear your head off! Look but don’t touch. Kali is the *rub my tummy and I’ll grant you three wishes* kitty around here. She even throws herself in front of mom so she’ll get her tummy rubbed. Me? I’m more dignified than that. Just a moment I feel the need to clean my private parts. MOL

Sure…we like sharin’ the sun. Mom says that when we have cold temperatures in September and snow in October, Ontario is getting 22 or 25C weather. So it works out. However, this warmth is unusual for us. We’ll certainly take it though. MOL

That looks like a wonderful roll in the sun. There is nothing better than a good outdoors roll. We had sun yesterday morning and I was out helping mum and dad in the garden. Then the sky came over really black and we had a hailstorm that left the hail 2 inches deep all over the garden. I ran indoors and stayed in front of the log burner for the rest of the day.

Flynn, it was a wonderful roll and scratch. We get the weather you’re talking about too, cept it tends to rain and that rain is not only in buckets but in huge bins. The buckets and bins tend to get thrown at us too. Waiting for calm weather where I can tend the garden.

That’s easy, we are in North Central British Columbia…that’s what mom says anywho. We tend to be cooler than the lower mainland….we call that *the banana belt* When the sun is out, the weather is warm but when the sun is hiding, its colder than mom with potato chips and she can be pretty cold. Easy, I’ve heard some people store the sun in their attic! Can you imagine….we’d have to run up into the ceiling to get some warmth….I like the straight at you big ball in the sky best. MOL
