A Sad Day For Blogsville

I have stated that this blog is for fun times and is meant to make us laugh and to put  the difficulties of life into perspective.  However, there are times that are just unpleasant and so very sad but they require a reaction.                                                                         11She was a Service Cat, a best friend and a loving family member.  I’m talking about Lexi High.  She lost her ongoing battle yesterday.   Dezi and her mom are wracked with sadness.  Slowly this sadness will pass and the terrible hurt will disappear but all the fun times will always be there to draw on in hard times.                                                                         LexiWe are humbled today and filled with loss.  Kali and Shoko join me in saying we love  you Lexi and know that one day we will meet again.

Lexi’s pictures were used with Deziworld’s watermark but permission was asked of the blog.

Thank you Easy for the support. It is a horrible time for Dezi and her mom but we are here for them when they are ready for us. Grieving is so personal and we don’t want to tread on this private time.

What a lovely tribute to sweet Lexi, Kali and Shoko. We saw the message this morning and haven’t had dry eyes since then. It is another big loss in Blogland. She was such a brave and sweet ladycat. We are heartbroken too. Soft Pawkisses to you all 😥 ❤ ❤

Lexi was quite a girl – being a service cat is hard work but she did that job with sister Dezi with pure LOVE for Mom Audra. She will be missed by EVERYONE. We know their hearts are broken and we hope time will make the edges of the pain softer……meanwhile I’m glad she is running free and without pain now……I know that when I go, she will be one of the first I will hug.

    Love, Sammy

This was sudden and a shock to everyone. We have sent purrs and prayers to Dezi and Mom A. Dad called last night and they talked for a good time and Mom A. then felt a bit better.
    Thanks for reminding everyone
    Whisker kisses Shoko.
Buddy Sends love to Kali too and she can read that on our blog

We were terribly shaken here. So glad your dad called and talked with Lexi’s mom….she is devastated. She respects and is very fond of your dad so the call will mean a lot to her. Mom never normally talks about sad things as she gets so upset but some terrible things hit us so hard we must discuss them.
      Thanks for stopping by guys.

Yes, Lexi is out of her misery now but that doesn’t make her passing any easier for Audra and Dezi……it will in time but not right now. Lexi was a lovely southern belle and showed Dezi everything she knew. She will not be forgotten. It was so nice of you to leave a message for Audra and Dezi…it will mean a lot to them.
