The Making of the Silver Bullet

Here it is time for the Cardwood Derby shortly.  Dad has been working on my race car off and on all week.

cardboard carI didn’t think you needed to see dad cutting up the boxes.  These are the beginnings  of my car.                                                                  cardboardtableDon’t worry,  mom and dad didn’t have to eat out of the car.   Mom moved the car when it was time for them to eat.  MOL

carfrCool dad!!  Look at the eyes in the headlights…looking for fun at the race track.

car3I like the wheel dad…I have a bee for a horn.  Let me press it…BUUUUUUUZZZZZ!  Wowzers, is it loud or what!

Please vote for us and our hard working crew starting Saturday the 23rd. of January.  Our #catscoutscardwoodderby car is one in a million and moves like mom fed it her beans!                                                              chuckle                                                 Kali and Shoks

hehe…the Buttlet was a combination of all of us….dad did the body, mom handled the accessories. Kali examined the car for safety….she kept falling asleep though so I’m still not sure if she did a good job or just wanted to get it over with and finally I drive the car.

You guys and gals have a very fishy weekend my friends.

Dezi, I was delighted to see your pick up in the race. It looks like a tank to me and you need a tank for those little accidents on the road. I know we need insurance for Kali when she drives. She sees about as well as Mr. Magoo when the sun is shining. hehe

MOL Fank you Shoko. Mommy just kuldn’t seem to wrap her bwain ’round a car. But once she sketched da pick up truck it was like she had a vision or sumfin’. She went mad crazy wiff da box cutter and finished wiff da furst box she tried. We have like 10 messed up boxes frum her attempts to make me a car. MOL It’s not nearly as fancy as yours is or sum of da others and we didn’t have anyfin’ to cover it wiff so it’s still a box wiff tape, but me had a entry and dat’s what counted.

        Luv ya’

It was kinda hard for us to wrap our heads around somethin’ too. Mom asked dad to make a car and said to use his imagination and dad had this deadpan look on his face like…what imagination? Mom suggested a car from NASCAR and dad ran with it…pretty good for no imagination! Anyway we thought you r truck was great. If mom was doing the car she probably couldn’t work the box cutter so your entry is fantastic. Mom would be entering a box with eyes on it and flowers. MOL
