Weekend Wonders Never Cease

Here it is another Friday.  We had some visitors this week.  Mostly peeps so we were not amused.  Uncle Nels came up from Vancouver Island.  This is dad’s brother….they are nothing alike either.  They don’t look alike or act alike.  Go figure.  I look more like Shoko than dad looks like Uncle Nels.  Uncle Nels is a fantastic in/out/in/out/in/out player.  He never seems to tire.  So both Kali and I play this game whenever we see him.

Uncle Nels

Uncle Nels

The other peep visiting was Nels friend Rick.  Mom has known Rick for quite awhile now.  Rick’s thing is he’s into Superman.  Everything Superman.  Superman sheets, PJ’s, clocks and all.  Anything you can think of for Superman Rick has it or is thinking about having it.  He’s kinda cool.  I was expecting him to take off and start flying above my garden, then I could meow, “Look it’s a bird, it’s plane, no, it’s Superman!”

Superman Rick

Superman Rick

Here is the real Superman.                                                          Kali took a shine to Superman Rick because he’s so soft spoken.  She said there was no difference between the real superman and Superman Rick.  I told her she needed glasses….there is a difference big sis.  She was stubborn and said,” NO difference!.”  Time to drop this subject.

We also had a visit from the cow kitty next door.  Dudes and dudettes, this guy is growing like a weed.  His body is bigger but his head is still small.  He looks a little odd!  Hope his head grows pretty soon and catches up with his body.                                                                                                                                         Isn’t he a charmer, even if he has a small head.

It’s artsy, fartsy, Caturday tomorrow  at Athena and Maries blog,

That would be oh so different if they didn’t stay with us. A visit and then they go away….now I would enjoy that. Usually visitors come from so far away that they have to stay with us….they can’t just go back home again. Then they make lots of noise around the house so I can’t fall asleep when I want. Then they go walking in the kitchen when I’m trying to eat. Completely turning me off my food till these giant feet are out of the kitchen. I think mom said that we are getting company from Vancouver Island on Thursday but they won’t be staying overnight. Thank Catness!

Hey Fozziemum, so good to see you without the camera too. We love your photos and fight over who’ll get to choose them. We’re a strange wee family but heck. we’re happy. Uncle Nels was so nice to us…we don’t think he really wanted to play in/out but he was being nice cause this is what we wanted. No kiddin’ the cow-kitty has a small head! I hope he gets it growing pretty soon or the other kitties on the block are going to make fun of him. He really is a nice guy for a wee kitty. Dad calls him Jersey.

That weird dude is still visiting? I would have thought he would have taken the hint by now. Bacon told me about him. Love your visitors. Maybe they can help your mom out and give her a rest. Much love – Bacon *finally* comes home today. ❤ Houdini

Super man is great…what an experience! Thanks for the compliment Zorro and Pixie. Those darned sunglasses kept slipping off my nose so I’m glad mom got the picture when the glasses were sitting on my nose and not sitting on my paw.

No Uncle Nels never brought anything for us. So we were kinda out in the cold treat wise. Maybe next time.

Yep, hope his head catches up with him soon…he does look a little odd! MOL

hahaha…big body, eh? I never see cow-kitty in the Lane so I don’t think he goes far…I think we’re the only ones he visits. He seems to be happy just to come and lay on our deck. Think he just likes company. Actually Kali is a cool kitty lately. She hasn’t put her paw down to the cow-kitty.

Oh my! You have said this before Ellen. This is not a good example for Sammy P to follow…he is an exceptional scout so don’t put weird ideas in his head. Besides isn’t that one of the 10 commandments…,”Do not covet thy neighbours cat?” MOL

      Big hugs my friends,

Well it’s been fun around your house! Love Superman and that totally HUGE sunflower he’s standing next to! WOW………..and Cow Kitty is getting bigger all the time – maybe his head will pop out bigger one of these days and surprise you. Kali made a perfect model for selfies this week!

We do tend to see peeps in the summer…when winter arrives…nobody knows where we live. Next week more relatives are stopping by. These ones aren’t staying with us. Whew!! Mom grew those sunflowers from seed…there’s no one more surprised at the size of them than her. It is a busy time for her.

Hi ya my friends, The visitors were different and I don’t mind telling you, *looks around in case dad is behind her* I for one am glad they are gone. Uncle Nels was louder than dad and that’s going some…I was always being startled awake by great horse laughs. Kali is playing more now….as if mom brought them here to show us how peaceful it is without them. MOL Kali did fall in love with Superman Rick’s voice and kept fallowing him around the garden.
Personally, I like your visitors. Did I ever tell you I have a soft spot for spiders? I like to watch them in their webs….Kali too. Mom likes spiders and has told us all about them. They kill ants and we all hate ants here. Mom goes into hysterics if she sees a bunch of ants close to her….ya, she’s a wimp! I think this is a phobia. This gal can squish all kinds of bugs but when it comes to ants, she’s worse than a little girl. Go figure.

Kali does like her artsy, fartsy day. Mom wasn’t very good this weekend healthwise so missed making the link properly. Nels moved over to Rick’s place but he’s been back three times since. Uncle Nels is very kind and always will help us if we need anything. What more can we ask for in a relative? Superman Rick is a good guy too and I for one, will not burst the bubble…if Kali believes he is the real superman…then he is. MOL
