Sunday Selfie and the Sun

Another beautiful day in the sun.  It was suppose to rain but no, just more sun.  The wind has gotten up so it feels cooler.  Mom replaced some Lobelia that was sun damaged with bright pink Snapdragons.

Dad brought our pool out from behind the shed.

Mom didn’t want to fill the pool up the way we like…..to the top, because the cow kitten next door might drown.

C’mon mom this is a real stretch for a sip of water!  Anyway Kali helped focus the camera and I had it on timer….voila….a selfie….sort of. MOL

He’s a pretty good dad with putting up that sign. Mom’s pretty good too because if someone comes to our house and doesn’t like cats, mom asks them to leave because we were here first. She has actually done this. I’ve watched mom.

We like the sign too…says it like it is. There is barely enough water to wet my paw….mom is too worried about the little cow kitten next door drowning. I tell ya its a real stretch to even touch water in the pool. Mom has a bucket of water for the flowers so I sip water out of the bucket.

Well Ladymum did a great job. It has rained not so lightly that it doesn’t count or so hard it crushes the garden. The rain was just right. The garden has been watered and the temperature has dropped to a pleasant temp. The cow kitten certainly would have been worth watching if he did a rain dance. You can never tell what these little gaffers will do. MOL

I’d love to see you in the pool with us. There is hardly any water in it cause mom is so afraid the cow kitten from next door might drown. I should get him an inner tube his size and make him wear it when he’s on our property…..hehe

Do we swim in the pool? We try when there is no water in it. Otherwise it is just a very big water bowl. That is when mom decides to put more water in there.

It’s not quite the same when the pool has water in it. Yes, the cooler air finds all of us sleeping…in fact mom and I are headed off to bed after this comment.

      Big hugs, Nellie,

it’s not easy to go fishing now in your pool… but you are a smart girl and you will get the whale , the octopus and the seahorse… I’m sure. The sign is pawsome, hope it can chase all evil intruders away :o)

OMP my friends! Your pool looks almost identical to my pool! Big enough to have fun yet small enough for no company like that pestering kitty you have next door. Snorts. XOXO – Bacon

OMC…that sign is the best. We want one. Shoko, do you ever get in the pool or do you just drink from it? It appears as if you might be able to get your swimming badge at Scouts if you don’t already have it. So happy to have you as part of our blog hop again this week. She broke her leg? How ghastly. Mom broke hers too a long time ago. She slipped on the ice when she was walking us…went down in a heap and scared Kali who proceeded to yell at her in Siamese. MOL
