You will remember a couple of weeks ago we had a furry visitor. He hung around here for three days…much to Kali and my disgust. He was in great shape and friendly. Dad was getting ready to call him George, so mom knew it was time George was taken to a shelter. George suffered the indignity of getting neutered but that was for the best best to keep the number of kittens in check. He was also given a check up and found to be in excellent health. Mom called today to see how George was doing. Well, yesterday a really nice family adopted him. Mom and dad were so happy! Mom had a cup of tea on Oak St( the name given him by the shelter). Dad, well dad had a beer to celebrate Oak St. getting a forever home.
We like him much better now that there is no chance he’s going to live with us.
Earlier today I got a surprise! Beatrice called to wish me a Happy Gotcha Day. I was delighted to speak with Beatrice and chat away about what she was doing and where she was. She was no longer in the Yukon and had spent weeks at headquarters in Winnipeg learning the camera angles and so on. She was calling from Argentina. It was very hot and she didn’t much care for it. Her work in Argentina would be done in a week so she was happy about that. She wasn’t sure when she would have the time to come home but she wanted to take advantage of the demand for her modelling. We told her we loved her and she gave us many verbal hugs. She’ll call again when she gets the extra time.
Imagine she’s in Argentina! I never even heard of it, Bet she’ll have lots of stories to tell us when she gets home. C’mon Kali a nap is sounding pretty good about now. Superb idea my little buddy.
*tears in eyes* We’re so happy that the Oak…St has found a furrever home, Shoko and Kali. This news made our day! Pawkisses 🙂 ❤

Hmmm, we would love to hear the story of how George was re-named Oak St unless that is where he will be living and his new owners hope it will help him remember where he lives. 🙂 So glad he has a home.

Hi Funny farm anipals, Dad wanted to call the stray George and I guess my friends on-line liked the name cause they started calling him that. The shelter named him Oak St. because that is the street where we live.

Beatrice has turned out to be a fashionista and very kind too. I still remember the beaver Beatrice eating our coffee table when she got upset. MOL

hahaha…running and zooming around is what young guy and girl felines do. I still run like crazy up and down the hall at night. Kali is bad for running up and down the hall and yelling…a Siamese yell, during the wee hours of the morning. This wakes everyone up, to check and see if she is OK. I’ve stopped getting up though cause I know she is just playin’.
That would be cool if Beatrice bought mom a new coffee table. Don’t think she could carry it but there are peeps for that. We’ll just have to wait and see. Big hugs to you, cuz.

You’re right Burmese is similar to Siamese. We do have quite the voices. Kali is older and I guess she figures mom will be happy she is well enough to carry on…you know, Kali’s right. Mom is happy that Kali feels good enough to play.
I think mom would be happy with anything about now. There are several teeth marks in each leg of the table. Beatrice sure has sharp teeth, MOL
