Christmas Preparations

Here it is December the 1st. already. The Christmas parties have started at the various workplaces. This is where my dad comes in. He is a super hero to all those who over indulge….you know, the drunks. Here in BC there is a group of volunteers in most towns that drive the drunks home safely and another person also drives the drunks car home. Now, how nice is that? These volunteers work for nothing from 8:30pm until 4am. Sometimes using their own cars. This to me is one super hero! They do accept donations that are used for sporting events for the kids here in town. This program is called Operation Red Nose.

Mom said we needed something to look more dressed up for Christmas. So she got us these bow ties from Mrs. Emily at the Kitty Cat Chronicles

Thank you Mrs. Emily.

Aww…thanks for the compliment to us. Ya, dad does has his pretty good moments. I don’t want him to get a swollen head though. Guess he’s a good dad. Kali and I are lucky.

That is wonderful of your dad to drive drunks home. M says it’s a very important job because it makes the streets safer for other people, and gets the drunks back home safely. I LOVE your bow ties. Very very stylish.

Dad does some pretty cool things for people. He says he does this because he used to drive drunk in his younger days and now he feels that driving these people home is the least he can do for others. He’s making up for the crazy things he did.

Oh you girls look fabulous in your bow ties! I don’t wear a collar or I’d have one myself believe me….I’ve always thought Sampson looked VERY handsome in his collar when I first saw it at Cat Scouts!! Christmas prep continues here too………isn’t it FUN?

I can’t wait for our phoney tree to go up. Mom says she is hoping to get it up Thursday or Friday. It’s her and dad’s anniversary on Thursday….43 years…I’m only 6…so 43 seems like a heck of a long time. Thank you for the compliment on my bow tie. I fuss when I wear anything but Kali is acting like the Queen of Sheba and why didn’t she get a bow sooner.

That’s a super idea, YAY for this volunteers and your superhero DAD! No one likes to spend christmas in a hospital, I hope it helps to avoid accidents and trouble to bring the peeps home who had to much “christmas-water” :o) You look great with your bow ties, bet Santa will add some extra trets to your stockings now :o)

If, dad’s help keeps one person alive or out of the hospital, it was worth the effort. Thanks for liking our bow ties….Kali is made to wear them and she is a big ham showing them off.

Do you think we should get dad a red cape for Christmas? Kali and I would have the treats for it. Mom would just have to find one. It took a bit for me to get used to the bow tie but not Kali, she was posing like Miss Kitty Litter of 2014. hahaha

Good idea Bacon!! I’ve let that expression lapse a bit since last Christmas. I know, the pathetic look is a good one but it doesn’t work so well on mom anymore so I must think up another look to use on mom. This could take some time….

Snorticles. Pretty good so far. Mom and dad don’t have a clue. Of course, if they think *I* did something, I just tell them that Houdini did it. Snorts. XOXO – Bacon

That’s way cool, Bacon. You have a pup to blame. I tried blaming Kali and mom caught me right away. I got a good talking to about telling lies! I couldn’t even argue….we both could hear Kali snoring away.

Hey my friends, dad must have a pretty good heart….I wouldn’t want to be around a bunch of ..over indulged peeps. They’re bad enough when they’re sober. Emily really did a good job on the bows….Kali is still priming herself in the mirror.

You’re real curious…maybe you were a fellow kitty in a past life! Ya, you don’t have a protector…that’s not so good but you can go run across the kitchen table or the counters and no one will tell you to get off. There always is a good side to every situation. aunty.

    Loves ya,
