Happy Thanksgiving USA

Let’s wish our friends in the states a Happy Thanksgiving Shoko. I really think they should celebrate Thanksgiving when we do. Why Shoks? Well Kali, it would make sense. Everybody is going to be sick of turkey by Christmas and then they get it again. Shoko, you know that the American’s celebrate the Pilgrams and Plymouth Rock and all that stuff. Yeah, that’s true Kali. Somebody told me that the men veg out and watch football all day while the women are busy getting the turkey and all the trimmings ready for din din. That doesn’t seem fair Kali. Well, would you like the person that doesn’t normally cook preparing your Thanksgiving Feast? Oh my, NO WAY!

We are very thankful for our American friends at Cat Scouts and on our blog, The Canadian Cats. May you have a marvelous day.

May you have enough leftovers for turkey sandwiches and soup.

Gobble, gobble.

You Canadian pals are always so gracious in wishing us holiday greetings on our holidays, and somehow I miss all the Canadian ones. I really must google your holidays and write them down. Thanks for the Happy Thanksgiving. We hope yours was wonderful.

Around here at x-mas dad does the dishes…mom loves that. Tonight the pawrents are having a tuna casserole from a box. Good ole mom…..she just works her fingers to the bone…..hehe

Did ya get turkey Bacon or don’t you like turkey? So you like football…go figure. Can’t see the enjoyment in it myself but lots of peeps seem to like it. It’s turned very cold here….right now its -28C or -18.4F I want out but when mom opens the door a blast of cold air hits me and I change my mind.

I don’t like the cold – eeww. It is so nasty. Turkey I love. Daddy did bring me back a piggy bag full of tasty yum yums. And football is great. I come from a long line of players – you know the footballs snorts. Plus I like hearing daddy yell at the television. It is so funny! XOXO – Bacon

I don’t care for the real cold either. I like about -5C with the sun beating down. That’s a nice temp to go investigating. Right now it’s so cold it would freeze your paws in minutes. Its -30C or -22F. I thought you would like turkey but Kali said no, you were strictly a vegetarian. See Kali I was right. Have a great Saturday my friend.

Don’t worry Bacon mom makes sure I’m not out long. Really, I like to go out with mom and watch her….chuckling to myself the whole time as she is shivering and talkin’ away to herself. I can’t get over the fence anymore cause the snow shifts and I’m unsure of my jumping capabilities. Can’t go under the fence cause of all the snow. So I’m pretty well stuck around the house.

Since Christmas advertising begins before Halloween anymore, an earlier Thanksgiving, the traditional, official start of the Christmas shopping season, might necessitate beginning the Christmas advertising around Labor Day, the first Monday in September. UGH!!!!

ugh…is right. As it is… iis way too early to haul out the Christmas ornaments in the stores. Some places are playing x-mas songs already…by the time Christmas comes, everyone is sick of it EVERYWHERE. Luckily in our city…they don’t start playing Christmas songs till about 10 days before the big day. Love hearing your opinions Weggieboy.

*burp* – just finishing up the leftovers my Mom brought to me from their Thanksgiving feast yesterday (when they deserted me for 24 hours!). We’re very thankful here EVERY day and not just on THanksgiving for all our friends and all the fun we have. Life is good. I’m VERY thankful.

    Hugs, Sammy

We are very fortunate Sammy. We are nice and warm and have lots of food and friends. It’s -28C here Sammy…damn cold….I won’t even go near the door anymore. Um..that’s -18.4F Mom says she is not going to the Y this afternoon. There is now a foot of snow out there….2 days ago there was nothing. Winter has arrived with a boom!

Hi there, I can certainly understand liking ham…don’t tell Bacon I said that…mom usually has a ham on New Years and we both love it. Turkey is good too though. I prefer Chicky to any of them and so does Kali. Have a great day.
