I don’t get mom at all. She is a strange duck. She was all upset when my pooh wasn’t formed so I had to go to the vets. Granted my stomach hurt too. Now I pooh….like really great….mom makes such a fuss over its awesomeness, you’d think I poohed gold! No we decided to show a picture would be rude and kind of disgusting. So I will just look cute.

Why am I going to the vet then, you may ask? Well, about 2 months ago mom started feeding Shoko and I Fancy Feast….primarily the beef pate. Well, crumbles be damned, we ate the beef with great gusto. Mom would fed us a tin every 3 days and watch the kitty litter for upsetting signs. There were none and I actually got feeling better. So after a month mom introduced Royal Canin Siamese Dry Crumble into our diet. She mixed a little with the hypoallergenic food, which is also from Royal Canin. Well, I got even better and started playing with my toys. So It’s been a month on the Siamese Dry food now and 2 months on the wet Fancy Feast. Things are looking good but mom wants to check with the vet to see if the allergy is coming out in itchy dry skin and if it is can they stay on the food and I take something for it. We shall see tomorrow. This is my regular vet, not the real good looking guy but Dr. Kalin…she is very gentle. So I will let you know tomorrow what happens.
Mom is taking Sasha and me to the vet for a visit.All the other vets we tried scared me so badly, I was convinced I had to defend myself.But Dr. Marie is different.She has a rare gift and I don’t mind going so much at all. Bindi

I hope its just for a check up Bindi and nothing awful. It is very important that both of you trust your vet and like her. I once had a vet that I screamed at and tried to bite him and I’m easy to get along with. So mom quit that vet hospital and went to another. I like all the vets in the new place.

Aaaaw Kali, weez so glad yous duin’ good. Dat’s like da pawsumest news. Can’t wait to hear what da VET sez. Sis Lexi had dat itchy flaky skin fur years cuz of allergies. Da VETs gave her all kinds of meds, but nuffin’ seemed to work til mommy stawted givin’ her da Berley Cat. Now, no awfur-itis and no itchy flaky skin. 🙂

Yep we swear by da Barley Cat, but not a lot of peeps hav heard of it. Weez not had any VET in da last 20 years dat knew ’bout it. We fink it’s cwazy since it be all natural and can’t hurt anypawdy but duz so much good. Da company just dusn’t do very much advertisin’, and weez fink since it dusn’t cost nearly as much as da udder options dat VETs carry they don’t wanna know bout it. But ow VET now wecommends it cuz hims seez what it duz fur us. Good luck.

Moms always know best about the vet. I had a bump on me that didn’t hurt at all, but Mom brought me to the vet anyway. Now it’s gone, the staples are out, and I am better than ever! Gotta go with the flow when it comes to moms. And vets. Good luck.

Oh she is very nice and gentle Sammy. In fact she was the one that discovered I was allergic to commercial cat food. Yes, mom commented on my name in Dr. Kalin’s when she first met the vet.

Sorry about that Purrsea. I guess not many of us like going to the vets. That’s right we could do without the poo picture….it was hard to get mom to listen…mom thought everyone would be interested. What strange things interest her….get a hobby mom!

Nylablue only ate Royal Canin kibbles & of course Fancy Feast…which of course she should not have had because of the IBD but she would not eat anything else.
She did take a liking to Friskies Senior Chicken & Turkey in Gravy tho the last few months….
And of course the beloved (low salt) tuna-tuna….
I miss buying cat food 😉

Mom is a little unsure of Friskies because this is what I was on when I had very bad problems. Now, I have also heard of tuna tuna and thought everybody was kidding. There is really a tuna tuna eh. The tuna-tuna is Cloverleaf Low Salt Skipjack in Water….it is people tuna so should not be given daily (which is funny because a certain feline would "ask' for it daily & i would give in, lol…)
It is all right to have a few times a week.
I have another 25 comments to go thru & so many blogs to visit….it is lovely to know Nylablue was so loved; does my heart good.

hello sweet Shoko…I am sorry i did not reply sooner. I have been very very sad & jsut keeping to myself. I also have been doing alot of cleaning to get rid of the Herpes Virus. I would not want to expose any new cat (in the future) to that virus!
I hope your Mom wil buy you some tuna-tuna….it is very yummy.
Nylablue was loved by so many; it is heartwarming to know this. It eases the sadness somewhat….
I had a good nite’s sleep last nite Shoko but no dreams…very odd for me. I must be so tired I do not remember them!

No problem Aunty Sherri-Ellen. I know you have gone through hell and I do understand how sad you have been. Mom has the Herpes virus….above the waist Herpes…she had the flu and somehow got the Herpes virus too. She ended up with Bell’s Palsy from it. The majority of time it is dormant. It isn’t catching…at least the kind mom has or dad would have it too.
You take good care of yourself….you mean a lot to us…all of us.

Thank you Shoko for understanding. It hwas been a rough two weeks since we found out Nylablue had Diabetes & had to do what is right for her.
How is your Mom today?? I am so sorry she has Herpes too. I am praying for her to get better soon….the sooner the better!!!!!!!!! There is so much Flu & weird viruses going around; the wather does not help things for us humans. Plus sick humans go out to public places where we humans have to go & the sick ones pass their germs to us!!! YUCK!!!!!!!!

I was busy over the weekend at the local pet food store doing an adoption event. I will have to find some time to do a blog about it all…6 kittens adopted 🙂
I am feeling a bit better emotionally altho I am coming down with sore throat & sinuses…I have been so overwrought it has caught up with me 😉

You are doing well Aunty Sherri-Ellen, We were all delighted you went to the adoption event. It would sure keep you busy. Six adoptions…excellent. Mom’s herpes has never bothered her again….oh once, the summer after the Bell’s Palsy, she got something like hives on her chest. After that incident…nothing. You’re right aunty, mom was saying some of the cashiers at Superstore have runny noses and are coughing. Of course, they don’t get paid sick leave I don’t think, unless they finally got a union in there.

Saturday nite was awfula s I cried so much when I got home. I almost did not go back yesterday but I had to for Nylalbue’s memory. It was good & I have only cried a bit since then. Last nite I only got ‘misty eyes’ at bedtime..
I know some people do not get paid if they take time off but what is the point of coming to work sick & making others sick & then the store is left short staffed??? I used to be in Nursing & if we so much as ‘sniffled’ we had to take time off & get doctor’s note to return to work!
I think that was a good idea…I do not miss those days of illness & languishing at home, lol.
Is Mom feeling better today?? I sure hope so!
