Preparing For Halloween

Halloween is creeping up on us….three days away. Have you decorated your house? Got your costume? If these little monsters are going to scare you, then you have to scare them back. Got all the candy for the trick or treaters? What did you say? You ate it!! You bought it twice and ate it twice. So what’s your plan now that the scary day is approaching and you can give the little ones a cabbage leaf and a smile? So candy is bad for them and they can show you a trick. Hmmm…can you just picture these little ones my friend.

Little Trick or Treaters

Little Trick or Treaters

Show me a trick...no treats here.

Show me a trick…no treats here.

Won’t you be popular among the little ones. How about the bigger one’s….be prepared to have your grounds toilet papered and then all the peeps will know you ate all the candy and didn’t buy anymore cause you were too cheap.

Where are you going? Oh, I see, off to the store to buy lots of candy and the kind you don’t like.

I wonder why the rise in interest over there. Parents are almost paranoid over here cause razor blades have been found in apples and all kinds of terrible things in candy. Needless to say, Halloween is not as popular as it used to be. I used to get over 100 little goblins banging on my door. Now I’m lucky to get 25. Yet its getting popular over there….strange.

We will Dezi. I guess no kids come to your apt. block…just as well as you really don’t have the funds to feed them. I wouldn’t give anything unless its wrapped for safety but even that doesn’t mean a thing…someone could take a syringe and put something inside.

You ARE the lucky ones. That’s the one part of Halloween Kali and I hate…oh…the big bangs at the end of the constant ringing doorbell. We set up housekeeping under mom’s bed. Think I’ll start taking my toys there soon and then I can get a whole bunch of things to play with….

You have been reading my diary again my friends – snorts. We bought candy. We ate candy. We re-bought candy and now it’s safely hidden away. We got our costumes. Re-thought the costumes. Bought new costumes. Went back to the original costumes. We decorated and then dad added more decorations to scare us. Mom has gained weight and she said that was the most scariest thing of all. I blame it on our beach vacation – snorts. XOXO – Bacon

haahahha…Your place and mine sound the same. Of course we didn’t go away on a beach vacation….no vacation is more like it. Halloween is fun isn’t it….not cheap but fun. Mom has to go to the store and get candy, again. Gee, I wonder why? *giggle*

Have a great day my friend.

my mom is a “starry eyed idealist”, she gives the kiddos small toys or pens or key chains and some bubble gum, but no candy. I’m afraid if we will get a TP-house then the dentists did it :o)

Great idea, to give out small toys or key chains….I don’t know about pens…I guess if they had fairy tale creatures, it would be ok. Double Bubble apparently has low sugar and trans fat. Definitely worth thinking about for next year Easy. Thanks pal.
