Phone Call From Vet

At noon yesterday the vet, not Dr. Jamieson, phoned to say that my culture for a urinary tract infection proved negative. Woohoo no pills or other tortures needed to be inflicted on me.

However, since receiving this cortisone injection, I eat, drink and go tinkles more. Worst of all I have developed this yearning for doorknobs. I clean them up, play with them and chatter at them.

C'mon play!

C’mon play!

What did you say?

What did you say?

Mom says she’s sorry about the background as its a mess. Really mom! This is not good….now everybody will be looking at our unmade bed.

The side effects are tolerable anyway. However mom doesn’t care for changing the litter box so often. I just told her its better than cleaning the floor of tinkles. She had to agree. haha

So true! When Oskar the Samoyed had to be on steroids it was tough. He had to piddle ever 45min to 1hr at the top dose and I would have to take off work so we could make it outside or at least to the throw rugs. To make matters worse, he was a Samoyed that did NOT like to get embarrassed by things like accidents so it was always a very trying time.

Wow…that is being able to tinkle through the eye of a needle. Mom had to change the kit lit every other day. I don’t like going to the bathroom outside so I come rushing inside when I need to go. I don’t seem to be needing to go so often and I’m not eating and drinking as much.

Hi Fozziemum, I was delighted I don’t have to go back to the vet! woohoo. Actually the doorknob was rather tasty but I think it was the catnip tea mom made for my tummy ache. I was a wee bit spacey. hahaha

Hi there, you betcha it was good news. I don’t know if I’m a little spacey playing with the doorknob or if it was the catnip tea mom did up for my tummy ache. Let me tell you, that was some tea….yuck! I had to paw through it so mom would throw it away. I don’t have a tummy ache though….however I had drank half the bowl. hahaha

We are so glad that Kali is O.K. It’s funny that she likes the doorknob. I guess she has a new friend to play with. Our mom didn’t even notice the background until you mentioned it. MOL Mom always tries to crop Andy’s Cat Scout pictures really tight. Love, Cali, Andy, Tater and Shelly (C.A.T.S)

What can I say….mom goofed and then didn’t notice it until she was just about finished. Sometimes I wonder about her. We don’t usually have this problem but Kali fell in love with the doorknob later in the evening.

Doorknobs huh? Well, they are harmless, don’t fight back, probably taste good with all those hands on them during the day…..I’d say it’s probably a delicious but non-nutritious snack! Glad Kali does NOT have an infection……YAY!!!!
