I have this strange relationship with a crow in the neighbourhood. I call him Chuck because….he looks like a Chuck. When I see Chuck I rush over to greet him…..chattering the whole time. Chuck answers back and we have quite the lively conversation.
Mom doesn’t seem to appreciate our chatter as it can get pretty loud at times. Yet we have broken the fur vs. feather barrier. I’m proud of that!!
That is quite amazing! I wonder what Chuck has to talk about?

Hi Marty, Chuck is full of chatter. He’s told me all sorts of places where I can find food. I don’t like his idea of food though. He’s brought me bread and then dropped it in water….it was thoughtful of him but really….soggy bread?? Don’t think so!

Crows are definitely fun Sammy. Mom has to change the big dish of water because Chucky keeps dropping bread and cheezies…I guess whatever he finds, into the water to soften it somtimes he comes back for it. Sometimes we just get this cwap left in the water. hahaha

Greetings from another Canadian cat…we’re practically neighbours in this big internet world…mol. Crows…I call them black devils. They’re not very nice to me and seem to enjoy cawing at me incessantly from the neighbour’s rooftop while I try to relax on the window ledge…no room to get a chatter in edgewise. Sometimes when I escape outside, all my human mom has to do to find me is to listen to where the crows are nosiest, and there I am. Have a great day! =^,,^=

Hi Neighbour!! A fellow Canadian…woo hoo. Are you in BC too? Good name for them….black devils. I don’t like it when they start screeching at me. That usually happens when I wander close to their young’uns. The way your mom finds you when you escape is similar to the way mom finds me. Except with me it’s barking dogs. hahaha Have a great day.

Yuppers…we’re in Coquitlam…20 minutes outside Vancouver. My mom’s been to Prince George, looooong time ago tho. Know any boaters there? There is a power & sail squadron in PG and since my mom’s the newsletter editor of the district they belong to, she occassionally communicates with some of them. …sometimes it’s a small world…mol =^,,^=

Cool! Mom’s father was the President of the Richmond Power Squadron for many years until he passed away. We don’t know any boaters around here but dad is remaking a cedar canoe from the frame. He’s so slow though. It should be ready in about a year and a half. He is working on it in the garage and mom insists the car be out of the garage before any banging and moving goes on. So he is restricted to the summer months. About 4 months. He does have the skin on the canoe…..that’s saying something. MOL
